Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of pirlosoccer.com and the player analytics services provided by PIRlo Holding Company LLC ("PIRlo," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a report, or otherwise using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the services on behalf of a club, academy, agency, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to the organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the services.

1. The Services

PIRlo transforms match data and video footage into individual player performance assessments, reports, and related analytics ("Services"). Reports are generated from the footage, rosters, and data you or your organization provide, combined with PIRlo's proprietary analysis methods.

We may modify, improve, or discontinue features of the Services at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders of material changes.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase Services. Reports concerning players under 18 may only be commissioned by a parent, legal guardian, or an authorized club, academy, or agent.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at nancy@pirloanalytics.com of any unauthorized use.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering and purchasing Services.

3. Your Content and Footage

"Your Content" means the match video, rosters, player information, GPS/wearable data, and other materials you submit to PIRlo.

  • You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant PIRlo a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, analyze, and reproduce Your Content solely to provide the Services, improve the accuracy of our analysis methods, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for rights and consents. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to upload Your Content, including (a) the right to record and share the footage under applicable league, venue, and competition rules; and (b) where footage or data involves minors, all required consents from parents or legal guardians.
  • We may remove or refuse to process content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. PIRlo's Intellectual Property

The Services — including our analysis pipeline, metrics framework, performance disciplines, report formats, software, website, branding, and documentation — are owned by PIRlo and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights in the Services are transferred to you.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or create derivative works from the Services or reports except as expressly permitted in Section 5.

5. Reports and Permitted Use

  • Individual and parent accounts may use reports for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing a player's own report with coaches, schools, or recruiters.
  • Club, academy, and agency accounts may use reports internally for player development, scouting, and recruitment purposes, and may share a player's report with that player or their parent/guardian.
  • Sharing controls: Reports are shared through links you control. You may keep a link private, share it with specific recipients, or make it public, and you may gate, restrict, or revoke access at any time at your choosing. You are responsible for how you share reports involving other players, including obtaining any consents required to share a minor's report.
  • Media and broadcast use of PIRlo data or reports requires a separate written license.
  • Reports may not be resold, republished, or redistributed commercially without PIRlo's prior written consent. Public posting of another player's report without authorization is prohibited.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

  • Fees for Services are presented at the time of purchase.
  • Refunds: Because reports involve custom analysis work, fees are non-refundable once processing of your footage has begun, except where required by law or where we fail to deliver the purchased report. If you believe a report contains a material error, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will review and, where appropriate, correct and reissue the report.
  • We may change pricing prospectively. Price changes will not affect Services already purchased.

7. Acceptable Use

PIRlo Holding Company LLC takes the privacy and protection of youth very seriously. Violation of any of the activities described in items 1–7 below may be subject to criminal or civil penalties. You agree not to:

  1. Use the Services in violation of any law or regulation, including privacy and child-protection laws, including any and all of the acts below
  2. Upload footage or data you do not have the right to share
  3. Misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for a player or organization
  4. Use reports or data to harass, demean, or publicly disparage any player, including minors
  5. Attempt to probe, breach, or test the security of the Services, or access data belonging to other accounts
  6. Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the website or Services
  7. Use the Services to build a competing product or to benchmark for competitive purposes without our written consent

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section and pursue appropriate legal action.

8. Player Assessments — Important Disclaimers

  • PIRlo reports are informational performance assessments based on the footage and data provided. They are not guarantees, predictions, or warranties of any player's future performance, development, selection, recruitment, scholarship, or professional outcome.
  • The accuracy of any report depends on the quality and completeness of the footage and data submitted. Poor video quality, obstructed views, or incomplete rosters may affect results.
  • Reports are not medical, fitness, or training advice. Consult qualified professionals for those needs.
  • Recruitment, selection, and roster decisions made by clubs, academies, schools, or scouts are solely those of the deciding organization. PIRlo is not responsible for decisions made by third parties using our reports.

9. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Services may interoperate with third-party camera systems, GPS/wearable providers, and other platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and PIRlo is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their handling of your data.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Provisions regarding minors' data in the Privacy Policy apply to all use of the Services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIRLO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) PIRLO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, OPPORTUNITIES, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES; AND (B) PIRLO'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PIRLO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PIRlo, its founders, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) Your Content, including any failure to obtain required rights or consents; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends; Sections 4, 8, and 11–17 survive termination. Data deletion following termination is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Arbitration: Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by AAA in Dover, Delaware, and the parties waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice via the website or email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or license you enter into with PIRlo, are the entire agreement between you and PIRlo regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
